Pru keeps getting robbed. Tonight it wasn't Emery but those pesky posts. He was even on his butt on the ice so he totally thought he scored. You could see him saying "Goal". Poor Pru. He is so close. So freaking close. Next home game. I am calling it now. Against Turco. Pru has not seen the jersey yet, that I can tell but apparently Lombo has. And it made him angry. He had a goal and an assist tonight. He is sad I did not get a Lombo jersey.
Shane Doan had an empty netter. Kinda. It was a very confusing moment with a ref conference at center ice. First Pronger went to the box. Then he came out. Then there was a lot of arguing. Then they gave Shane the goal. It was crazy. There were moments of confuzzlement and happiness and more confuzzlemnt and more happiness.
In the end the Coyotes won 3-1. Overall it was a good game. Both teams played hard but in the end the Coyotes got the two points. The PK didn't allow a goal but there were a few scary times in front of the net. Fiddy was the 3rd star tonight. I am going to say he earned that with his play on the PK.
Our PP apparently has improved. Two of the goals came on the PP which means we get free Oggi's bread sticks and a free taco supreme (with purchase of a beverage) from T Hell. Wow, tomorrow is free food day!!! Way to keep your fans in free food guys! We need all the free food we can get to afford tickets and jerseys and Christmas cards and such.
Carcillo appeard to like hitting Mueller and Doan. I think it reminded him of warmups from last season. Those three had a special warm up bond. It was called the Mueller-Sandwich.
The hit of the game was Shane. He took out two players at once. One of them was Scottie. I guess someone forgot to remind Doaner that Scottie is a Coyote now... not a Flyer.
And I got to see Ray! OMG. I think Amy might have been sick of me and the Ray-ness. I was all over that, especially since the Coyotes attack twice int he end we sit in. Oh Ray. I took some pics of him.
Apparently my computer does not want me to put up the picture of Pru taking the face off near Ray. Oh wells.
The next home game is Friday. That is a long way away. But the plan is to show Pru the jersey because he gets so excited when he gets signs. He may implode if he sees someone in a Prucha jersey!
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I'm spent. Night hockey land!
